In 1983, members of the Zonta Club of Albany reached out and created the local Zonta Club of Montgomery and Fulton counties, which is located in the organization’s second district.
“There is a need in every county in this country to help women, to help girls have the best lives that they can have. So yes we’re needed in this county, we are needed in Fulton County. We are needed where ever we are,” said Inge Zimmerman, a member of the Zonta Club of Montgomery-Fulton.
The Zonta Club of Montgomery-Fulton has undertaken multiple projects over the years since it was established to raise funds to improve the lives of the women in their community.
