Zonta Club of Sault Ste. Marie celebrates 100 years in Rotary parade

On Saturday, July 20 the Zonta Club of Sault Ste. Marie Area celebrated Zonta’s 100 years of empowering women Through service and advocacy at the Rotaryfest Parade.

The theme was the Academy Awards and the Zonta club showed award-winning skills at decorating a car for the Z’Oscar to ride in and were suitably attired in top hats, tails and sparkly Zs.

  1. Looking awesome, ladies! I heard you had standing ovations from local residents lining the streets along the route. They must appreciate all that you do in the community to empower women and girls. Oh, you looked fantastic in your tuxedo tails, bow ties, top hats and white gloves!
