Zonta Club of Bunbury Inc’s Cinematic Celebration and launch of ‘100 Women’ magazine

The Zonta Club of Bunbury Inc in Western Australia, District 23, Area 3, celebrated Zonta’s Centennial Anniversary in the following ways:

  • A “Cinematic Celebration” at the Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre, with the screening of eight short films honoring and empowering women in some way
  • An amateur short film competition based on the theme “Honour and Empower” with the winners of the two categories (under 18 and Open) announced at the Cinematic Celebration
  • The launch at the Cinematic Celebration of a 24-page magazine produced by the South Western Times newspaper: 100 WOMEN: Celebrating the achievements of women in the South West. The magazine will be included as a special publication in the next edition of this regional newspaper on 14 November. The center pages of the magazine are devoted entirely to Zonta.
  • The city of Bunbury supported the club’s celebrations by lighting up the city’s footbridge on the 8th and 9th November, in teal, Zonta’s 100th anniversary color.
