Close to 70 Zontians and members of the Polytechnic University Golden Z Club, all wearing their centennial teal t-shirts, gathered at the Tai Tam Country Park for a ribbon-cutting ceremony officiated by Past Zonta International directors Winnie Teoh and Anna Wong along with Area 2 Director Lucy Wong.
Participants enjoyed the half-day fellowship followed by a delicious lunch at the Parkview Clubhouse. The event raised a net sum of HKD 38,000 (approximately US$4,840) in support of the Zonta International Foundation.
That afternoon, Singaporean Zontians held their Say No to Violence Forum that focused on anti-bullying and body image, which was well attended by 300 students.
Wow! Thanks to Hong Kong and Singapore Zonta for raising funds to help women and girls !!
